Belvidere Primary School
Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians
TT Rockstars & Numbots
We’ve seen a fantastic increase in engagement across both platforms. KS2 parents received a heat map showing their child’s progress on TT Rockstars—lots of green across the board! Keep up the great work, and soon everyone will be as speedy as Ted P, Jack K, and Alexys O, who all average just one second per correct answer. They’ve truly earned their Rock Hero status!
For our younger learners, Numbots is a brilliant introduction to early maths skills. Starting with counting games and progressing to number bonds, it lays a strong foundation for future learning. Please continue encouraging your child to log in and play.
Sporting Events
Three teams proudly represented our school this week:
Year 5 Multisport at Mary Webb
The children had a fantastic time exploring a variety of activities. Many thanks to Mrs Morris for accompanying the team. She was full of praise and noted how well they represented our school values.
Year 4 Fitness Frenzy at Meole Brace Secondary
Led by the school’s sports leaders, this event was a hit! Our pupils enjoyed the chance to engage in physical activity outside the classroom. Thanks to Mrs Davenport and Miss Heath for accompanying our Year 4 superstars!
Year 2 Boys Football at Crowmoor School
Football fever was in full swing! Our Year 2 boys gave sensational performances in a small-sided tournament and returned victorious! Well done to all involved and huge thanks to Miss Howard and Mrs Craig for coaching and supporting our team.

Thank You – United Carpets
A heartfelt thank you to Anastasia from United Carpets for kindly donating equipment to help us repair our school carpets. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
School Disco
What a fantastic way to end the half term! The children looked brilliant in their costumes and had a great time at the disco. Huge thanks to the ‘Friends’ for organising such a fun event—it was enjoyed by all!
Wishing You a Wonderful Half Term
Enjoy the break, everyone! We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 3rd November as we begin Autumn 2 and the countdown to Christmas.
Warm regards,
Mr G. Jones
Belvidere Stars of the Week
A huge well done to our Stars of the Week!

Jewellery
Please can we remind parents that children who have their ears pierced should only be wearing studs to school.
No other jewellery should be worn in school.
Arbor Balances
Please can we remind parents that Arbor balances are kept up to date and any outstanding balances are cleared before we return on the 3rd November.
We truly value the flexibility we currently offer, allowing families to pay in arrears. However, if outstanding balances are not cleared promptly, we may be left with no choice but to move to a pre-payment system, as many other schools have already done.
We understand that times are challenging, and we are more than happy to discuss payment plans or offer support where needed. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office in confidence if you require assistance.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Secondary Application deadline – 31 October 2025
