Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians

Next week is Half Term - we hope that everyone has a lovely week.

Children will return to school on Monday 6th June.

As the weather is starting to warm up, please ensure all items of clothing are clearly named - it is very hard to reunite lost jumpers/cardigans with their owners if they have no names in them!

 Covid

Unfortunately, we have seen Covid cases in school this week.

Over the Half Term break, please remain vigilant.

Years 4, 5 & 6 Residentials

The children and teachers had a fantastic time at the residentials.

Hopefully the children have told you all about their adventures and parents have seen the photos on twitter.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

We have had a lovely time celebrating the Queen's Jubilee today in school.

The children looked fabulous in their crowns and enjoyed having their lunch on the lawn.

Little Bells and KS1 children also performed songs for the school.

 Picatale

Children will be bringing home tonight a log in for an additional reading programme.  This does not replace the existing books that the children bring home.  Picatale is a library online for children to enjoy and develop their love of reading.

Please see link below for more information.

Severn Hospice Monkmoor

The Severn Hospice shop in Monkmoor has items of preloved uniform to purchase should you require any additional items of clothing.

They will also take donations of any uniform that your child/ren has grown out of - just pop into the shop to drop them off!

We are pleased that many children have had books from the shop - keep up the good work and don't forget to visit over the holidays for more books and to get your loyalty card stamped!

PSHE Lessons

As you may know, we are using a new PSHE programme in school.  During this term, the topics will be ' Relationships' and 'Changes'.  These topics will involve discussions about family, friendships and the body.  In the KS2 classes, this will also begin preparing them for Sexual Health Education.

Please click on the link below for further information.
