Belvidere Primary School
Good Afternoon Parents & Guardians
Following the excitement of the Year 6 residential, this week has had a much more settled and familiar feel. It’s been lovely to see all of our after-school clubs back up and running, bringing energy and enrichment to the school day.
We’re also delighted to welcome Miss Sequeira, who has joined us from the Shropshire Music Service to become a fully-fledged member of the Belvidere Primary team.
I’ve been really impressed with how well the children have settled into their new year groups. There’s a calm sense of purpose throughout the school, which is wonderful to see.
A question we’re often asked during the academic year is: How can I support my child with their learning? To help answer this, we’ve included a few key dates for your diary where you can find out more about what’s being taught at Belvidere Primary. This term, we’re focusing on reading, with other subjects to follow as the year progresses.
You’ll also find some other useful upcoming dates below—please do take a look and make a note of them.

Have a lovely weekend.

Belvidere Stars of the Week
A huge well done to our Stars of the Week!
Arbor Balances
Please can we remind parents that Arbor balances are kept up to date.
We truly value the flexibility we currently offer, allowing families to pay in arrears. However, if outstanding balances are not cleared promptly, we may be left with no choice but to move to a pre-payment system, as many other schools have already done.
We understand that times are challenging, and we are more than happy to discuss payment plans or offer support where needed. Please do not hesitate to contact the school office in confidence if you require assistance.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Headlice
We have some 'unwanted' visitors in school.
Please can we ask that you check your children's hair and treat if necessary
Healthcare / Medical Conditions
Healthcare plan forms have been sent home tonight with all children who we are aware of a medical condition.
Please can we ask that these forms are completed and returned no later than Monday 29th September once received so we can update our records accordingly.
